The left has been telling us for months that facts, actual facts, matter and that the single worst thing about President Donald Trump and the Trump era is the assault on factual truth.
This was the strongest and best point the left had to make. When factual truth is up for grabs, we can never get to higher truths.
But now one of the great tribunes of the left is herself revealed to be fact challenged and truth resistant.
Elizabeth Warren, as everyone knows, by now is no more Native American than most of the rest of us, maybe less than many of us. Her native American blood is 1/64th to 1/1024th of a percent.
This probably matters not at all to her “base” — true believers in Ms. Warren — just as the president’s lies and exaggerations matter not at all to his base.
