WATCH: Secret Service arrests activist for vandalizing Trump Tower

On Wednesday, a climate activist was arrested by Secret Service after vandalizing the gold Trump Tower placard with chalk spray paint.

The climate activist who belongs to the group "Extinction Rebellion" walked into Trump Tower in Manhattan, then sprayed "USA" over the Presidential placard.

He knelt, and Secret Service shortly approached him and arrested him.

Extinction Rebellion also published a press release following the demonstration:

"I did this because I am an American. It is my duty t ostand up for my country, and my Earth, when a government becomes destructive of our right to Life."

The man continued, "Donald Trump and the regime of private interests he works for—who donate equally to each party—are destructive of your inaIienable right to Life. All American political parties are equally complicit in inaction which has brought us to this point."

The man made it a point to state that it did not matter whether the U.S. is governed by Republians or Democrats.

He said, "Switching to blue is not the solve. Kamala Harris' climate platform was fracked gas, much deadlier than regular."
