President Trump said Thursday that former President Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder made a “dangerous statement” when he incited violence against Republicans.
“He better be careful what he’s wishing for,” Trump told Fox News. “That is a disgusting statement for him to make. For him to make a statement like that is a very dangerous statement.”
Holder went against former first lady Michelle Obama’s advice to the Democratic Party to take the high ground when fighting the GOP. Instead, he said, “When they go low, we kick ‘em,” which was met with applause from the audience who then broke out in chanting “fight.”
Trump said he is the opposite of Holder because he holds “really calm and well run” rallies.“They have to be careful with the rhetoric because it is very dangerous what Holder says,” Trump continued. “Holder is, he’s got some problems. I don't see him running [for president]. If he did run, I think he would get gobbled up before he ever gets to the election itself. I think the primaries would gobble him up.”
