Alekseevich suggested that Ukraine's Intelligence agency paid Alekseevich $4,000 to attempt the assassination of Carlson while the former Fox News host during his stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Moscow.
Tucker's purpose of his Russia visit was to interview President Vladimir Putin.

In the video, Alekseevich said, "Born in 1988, from Podolsk, November 2023 I was recruited by an employee of the GUR of Ukraine through the Internet network, and was trained to work with special communications, assembling of explosive devices, and collecting from secret stashes."
Alekseevich continued, "January 31 from my curator I received a task to pick up an explosive device from a secret stash, and to use it to blow up a car."
The interviewer asked Alekseevich, "What were you promised?"
He replied, "Monetary benefit of $4,000."
"Where was the explosive device supposed to be used?"
Alekseevich replied, "In the underground parking lot at the Four Seasons hotel in Moscow. It was needed to pickup the device from the secret stash and put it under the vehicle."
"Against whom was it planned to use the explosive device?"
"Not much was explained, "Alekseevich said."
The interviewer asked, "Now you know who was the target?"
"Yes, American journalist Tucker Carlson."
"What went wrong?"
Alekseevich responded, "I was arrested during the preparation stage."
