Elon Musk replies to Toria Brooke’s post about development in the assassination attempt made against Trump

In an unexpected turn of events, X CEO Elon Musk replied to a post made by citizen journalist and court reporter Toria Brooke.

The failed assassination attempt on President Trump's life has led to a flood of information over the weekend, with every news outlet vying for the next scoop.

On Sunday evening, Fox News' Laura Ingraham shared a breaking news story about the alleged shooter's cell phone.

The FBI identified Thomas Matthew Crooks as the alleged man (or patsy) who allegedly shot at President Trump.

According to Fox News, "An FBI official believes the shooter acted alone. We're also learning that they can't get into his cell phone. They have it at Quantico but haven't been able to get any data out of it."

Conservatives and "awake-triots" scoffed at the comments, as an inundation of users' phones who were present on the Capitol grounds on January 6, 2021 had their phones seized and searched by authorities.

Toria Brooke reported on the story with a post: "Quantico reportedly cannot get into the alleged shooter’s cell phone, who they state: "Acted alone."'

Elon Musk responded, "How do they know he acted alone if they can’t get into his phone?"

In true Toria fashion, she quipped with, "That's the million dollar question" and a clip of Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny.

President of America First Legal Stephen Miller also reposted Musk's response.
