Multiple news outlets have covered recent revelations that were discussed in-depth on The Shawn Ryan Podcast regarding the alleged perpetrator of the Las Vegas Tesla Cybertruck bombing; decorated U.S. Army Special Forces Master Sgt. Matthew Livelsberger, who "sent a disjointed email on the morning of New Year's Eve to Samuel Shoemate, a retired Army intelligence officer and military pundit."
 
Shawn Ryan said, "The same email address that messaged @samosaur also sent a message to the Shawn Ryan Show. Sam: "I would imagine if Joe Rogan, Fox News name some other big names out there, scrub their emails right now, they could probably find a message from this guy." Email Address: Dabergmlb@protonmail.com".
   
Livelsberger wrote: "Hey man this is an activity duty sf tm sgt out of 10th. I want to blow the whistle on our activities in a certain place. I am willing to sit down with you on the 31st in Flagstaff or do it remotely via phone. Must be done before the 31st as I'll be leaving."

The email that Livelsberger sent to Shoemate read, "I've been followed for over a week now from likely homeland or FBI, and they are looking to move on me and are unlikely going to let me cross into Mexico, but won't because they know I am armed and I have a massive VBIED. I've been trying to maintain a very visible profile and have kept my phone and they are definitely digitally tracking me." "I have knowledge of this program and also war crimes that were covered up during airstrikes in Nimruz province Afghanistan in 2019 by the admin, DoD, DEA and CIA. I conducted targeting for these strikes of over 125 buildings (65 were struck because of CIVCAS) that killed hundreds of civilians in a single day."

 
"In a text made public by local authorities, Livelsberger wrote: "I needed to cleanse my mind of the brothers I've lost and relieve myself of the burden of the lives I took."

"And in an interview Friday, a former girlfriend of Livelsberger's said he told her he suffered a traumatic brain injury while serving in the Middle East. Alicia Arritt, who was in a relationship off and on with Livelsberger from 2018 to 2021, told CBS News that she exchanged around 30 texts with Livelsberger in the days leading up to the bombing. 

She said he gave no indication that he was planning to take his own life or blow up a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas."

CBS reported: "[He] referenced his ongoing concerns about civilian casualties caused by an airstrike in Afghanistan. The incident he mentioned appears to align with reports of U.S. airstrikes in May 2019 targeting alleged drug-processing facilities in Afghanistan, where more than 30 civilians, including children, were reportedly killed."

The Internet is currently scavenging for all ties to Livelsberger, including burner social media accounts and public posts. "Friends who knew him well, and most pointedly, his email to Shoemate, offered indications he may have been struggling with those issues. On Friday, Shoemate discussed the letter on The Shawn Ryan Show, a podcast where Ryan, a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor, interviews individuals primarily from the national security space. 

Shawn Ryan has shared new details regarding burner accounts affiliated with Livelsberger, wherein he stated he wanted to become a whistleblower.
 
 
 
Following the podcast airing, Shoemate wrote on X: "I knew taking this public would insert me into the "glowy boi" conspiracy cycle, especially since I’m an intelligence officer."

"I had no choice. Dude dumped it in my inbox. When I saw his name in the news, I had little choice but to hand it over to the feds. I knew the FBI wouldn’t release it, or at least without an agenda attached, so I took it to @ShawnRyan762 because he has the platform to handle the magnitude of this information and will do so as objectively as possible."
 
Shoemaker shared a post to X: "Here’s the detailed header for the email from Matt Liversberger. Go to work."
 
It's worth noting that in the email that Livelsberger wrote to Shoemate, the abbreviation "VBIED" means a vehicle-born improvised explosive device, otherwise known as a car bomb.
