Referring to the auto industry, President Trump made comments asserting that there would be a "bloodbath" for the American auto industry if he is not reelected.
Unsurprisingly, the media jumped at the opportunity to blast Trump for having alleged "dictator" rhetoric. The Biden administration promptly released a statement
According to a report from NewsNation, which also cited The Hill, former chief of staff to Donald Trump, Mick Mulvaney, says he is disappointed in the media for not adding context to Trump’s quote.
“I didn’t realize this until I went to do the research. It’s a conversation about Chinese automakers trying to use Mexico to get cars into the United States,” Mulvaney explained during a Sunday interview on “NewsNation Prime.” He suggested that Trump’s remarks were specifically addressing concerns about the American automotive industry, a critical issue in Ohio where the rally was held.

Meanwhile, CNN reports that dozens of U.S. citizens have been evacuated from Haiti on a State Department charter flight as the country "remains paralyzed by escalating gang violence and political instability that has left once bustling streets vacant and necessities like food and gas scarce."
Congressman Cory Mills (R-FL) reported on X, "It’s with great pride I announce that our team successfully conducted another rescue of 13 Americans out of PAP Haiti. Our team has now successfully rescued and evacuated more Americans than Biden and his entire administration. Americans deserve support from their government. Not the pattern of abandonment this administration has shown."

Meanwhile, Haitians are headed for the United States.
The Epoch Times reported: "According to the Florida Fish & Wildlife (FWC) Commission, two FWC officers were conducting nighttime water-based patrol when they discovered a 42-foot boat approaching from offshore containing 24 illegal Haitian immigrants, including five children, drugs, night vision gear, and a captain who was armed with guns."
The officers "knew they had intercepted a human smuggling operation” the moment they intercepted the vessel. The male boat captain and one female passenger, both U.S. citizens, were arrested and turned over to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO). The case was also referred to both BCSO and the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol for further investigation.
FWC’s public announcement of the case on March 15 comes just days after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he would dedicate significant state resources to combat illegal immigrants coming from Haiti."
There are unverified reports scattered across social media that the illegal Haitian immigrants flooding into the U.S. are cannibals.
According to Rasmussen Reports' daily Presidential tracking numbers for March 18, 2024, "43% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) disapprove. The latest figures include 23% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 45% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22."
Perhaps the mainstream media should focus their attention to the U.S. Southern border, matters of national security, and the safety of Americans prior to attacking former President Donald J. Trump.
