Trump vows to investigate Clinton after FBI clears her

Donald Trump promised Tuesday to look into whether Hillary Clinton abused special privileges while secretary of state. The declaration came hours after the FBI declared it would not recommend criminal charges against the Democratic presidential candidate to the Justice Department.

"I'm going to further look into it and we will see what we will see," Trump told Fox News host Bill O'Reilly in a phone interview recorded Tuesday afternoon.

In February, the billionaire businessman said he expected Clinton to get away with her use of private email servers while the top State official, but as president, he would look in to prosecuting Clinton.

The businessman turned politician pointed to a number of events over the past five days that have him questioning whether there was a conspiracy between federal officials and the Clintons.

Trump called Bill Clinton's tarmac meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch last week, President Obama's stumping for Clinton at a rally in North Carolina Tuesday evening, and FBI Director James Comey's Fourth of July weekend meeting with Clinton "very strange."
