Donald Trump believes he can relate to advocates of the Black Lives Matter organization because both are victims of a broken system.
The presumptive Republican nominee told Fox News host Bill O'Reilly in a pre-taped interview that aired Tuesday night that African-Americans who claim the system is biased against them share that struggle with Trump, who said he went up against a flawed system during his primary race against 16 political candidates.
"I have been saying even against me the system is rigged when I ran as a, you know, for president, I mean, I could see what was going on with the system and the system is rigged," Trump said.
The businessman billionaire admitted he could not identify with the full experience of African-Americans, but added he would like to think he understands it.
Trump bashed the two police officers in Baton, Rouge, La., and St. Paul, Minn., where two black men were killed by police officers in separate incidents last week.
