Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) appeared to confirm the investigation in an interview with CNN, according to Mediaite, and suggested that the investigation could be retribution for similar investigations conducted during Bill Clinton’s presidency — investigations that ultimately led to Clinton’s impeachment.
