Non-Profit group finds Girl Scout cookies contain toxic ingredients

The non-profit Moms for America recently shared test results of various toxic elements found in Girl Scout cookies.

According to their media kit, "Moms for America is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2004 by Kimberly Fletcher. The organization’s mission is to Empower Moms to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government that will protect our God-given liberties for future generations. Moms for America® believes that liberty begins at home. Since its founding, we have set out to help moms across the country raise patriots and engage in the public square through activism and running for office to heal America from the inside out. Moms for America® is known for being the fastest-growing women’s movement in America."

Moms for America and GMO Science reportedly performed a health test on 14 different Girl Scout cookies: Tagalongs®, Adventurefuls®, Thin Mints®, Trefoils®, Samoas®, Do-si-dos®, Toffee Tastic (GF), Lemon-Ups®, S'mores ™, Peanut Butter sandwich, Toast-Yay!®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, and Lemonades®.

I shared the results in a now viral post on X.

Here are the findings:

  • 100% of the Girl Scout cookies tested contained toxic metals and glyphosate.

  • 22 out of 25 of the samples were positive for all five toxic metals - aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury.

  • The Peanut Butter Patties® had the highest levels of toxic metals.

  • Thin Mints® had the highest levels of glyphosate.

  • 76% of the cookies tested positive for levels of cadmium that exceeded EPA limits in water.

  • 24 out of 25 samples of the Girl Scout cookies tested contained lead. There is no safe level of lead.

The findings from Moms for America highlight the concerns raised by many Americans—that the food in the United States is being poisoned with unnecessary ingredients that create health issues among our childrens and population at-large.

While Americans are at the mercy of the Food and Drug Administration, other countries are unregulated.

For example, the same exact ketchup sold in the United States may have double the ingredients of the same brand sold in europe. The same could be said for other popular condiments, non-perishable items, and even produce.

Heinz Tomato Ketchup in the United States contains: Tomato Concentrate, Distilled Vinegar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Salt, Spice, Onion Powder, and Natural Flavoring.

Heinz Tomato Ketchup in the United Kingdom contains: Tomatoes, Spirit Vinegar, Sugar, Salt, Spice and Herb Extracts, Spice.

The dyes that are used in foods in the U.S. are also concerning.

Recently, President Trump's DHS appointee, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., exposed the food industry’s use of toxic yellow dye tartrazine, which causes tumors, asthma, developmental delays, neurological damage, ADD/ADHD, hormone disruption, gene damage, anxiety, depression, and intestinal injuries.

Trump's appointment of RFK Jr. to be the next DHS head has sparked positivity and praise, as awakened Americans are ready to have healthier options for their homes.

The risks of buying from grocery stores has outweighed the pros of purchasing weekly groceries via farms and local markets. However, most Americans do not have the luxury of being able to access a farm or have the time and resources to find alternative options.

It's time to reform the ingredients we allow in food in grocery stores, school lunches, restaurants, and beyond, so that all Americans can lead healthier lives.
