NEW: Dennis Quaid says he is voting for Trump

During a recent interview with Piers Morgan on his eponymous show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, Dennis Quaid said he will be voting for former President Trump.

Morgan asked Quaid, "What do you think of Trump?"

"I think I am going to vote for him in the next election."

"Really?"

Quaid reinstated, "Yes I am."

"Are you ready for the blowback?" Morgan asked.

Quaid said his decision was not about taking sides. On his choice to vote for Trump, the actor said, "It just makes sense."

"I was ready not to vote for Trump until what I saw is more than politics; I see a weaponization of our justice system and a challenge to our Constitution that as Americans
