CALIFORNIA 🚨 FBI agents raided the home of Oakland Democrat mayor Sheng Thao. She was elected in 2022, becoming the first Hmong-American mayor of a major city in America. Thao is facing a recall vote as crime in Oakland continues to skyrocket.

The raid went down just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning on Maiden Lane in the suburban outskirts of Oakland, with federal agents knocking on the home’s door and rousing somebody inside to begin a search.
“The FBI is conducting court authorized law enforcement activity on Maiden Lane. We are unable to provide additional information at this time,” the FBI told the outlet in a tight-lipped statement.
Exactly what the FBI was investigating also remains unclear.
Thao has not been publicly accused of any crimes, but she has faced harsh criticism in recent months over sky-rocketing crime in Oakland since she took office in 2023.
Her troubles ramped up in May after an effort to recall her from office gained enough signatures to appear on a November ballot.
