Airlines are reportedly resuming normal activity without cancellation, with the exception of Delta Airlines.Per CNN, "Delta canceled 1,500 flights on Friday, or more than a third of its schedule. That’s more than any other airline in the world, according to flight tracking service FlightAware."
"[Delta] grounded nearly 3,000 more flights over the weekend, and early Monday had canceled 700 more flights, or about 60% of flights canceled by all airlines worldwide. Most other US airlines had only 1% of its flights canceled, compared to roughly one out of every six scheduled Delta flights.
In a note to customers Sunday, Delta CEO Ed Bastian apologized for the disruptions and attributed the problem to the computer program affecting its “crew tracking” software."
As of Monday morning, flight tracker website Flight Aware reported an additional 600 Delta flights canceled at U.S. airports as businesses and consumers continue to feel the impact of the biggest cyber outage ever.
In the late hours of Friday evening, citizen journalist Toria Brooke reported live from Minnesota-Saint Paul Airport:
'Eerie scene in Minnesota as the airport has emptied out with thousands of flights being cancelled.'

At Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, air travelers are still sleeping on floors and waiting in long lines. There is still “chaos,” WSBTV reported.
"In a statement, Delta said it is contacting impacted customers directly, “offering an acknowledgment of the disruption, an apology and the issuance of SkyMiles program miles or a travel voucher.”
Delta continues to deal with technical challenges, including a tracker system that helps the company track pilots and flight attendants.
One of the most alarming results of the outage is that new flights with unaccompanied minors are not permitted to be booked, and those who were already booked won’t be able to fly until Tuesday, July 23.
According to a report from The Associated Press, "Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg spoke to Delta CEO Ed Bastian on Sunday about the airline’s high number of cancellations since Friday. Buttigieg said his agency had received “hundreds of complaints” about Delta, and he expects the airline to provide hotels and meals for travelers who are delayed and to issue quick refunds to customers who don’t want to be rebooked on a later flight.
CROWDSTRIKE AND RUSSIAGATE
The signficance of CrowdStrike runs deep.
Years ago, President Trump flagged CrowdStrike, the cybersecurity firm that caused Friday’s global computer outage affecting airports, banks, and businesses.
The company was the first to push the Russiagate hoax of the 2016 election.
CrowdStrike was paid by the DNC to "investigate a hack of its server".
In 2019, President Trump brought up the firm in a call with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

InfoWars "American Journal" host Harrison H. Smith wrote in a post on X, "So let me see if I have this Crowdstrike story straight….
When Hillary Clinton was Sec. of State, she was illegally funneling sophisticated weapons through Libya to terrorists in the MidEast in an effort to take out Assad in Syria for Israel.
When the weapons transfer went sideways and the US Ambassador was killed in Benghazi, it was discovered she was using an illegal private server for secret communications. She destroyed the server, but not before its contents were leaked by Wikileaks, including communications about bizarre occult rituals and inexplicable code words involving children and pizza.
Instead of investigating the leak themselves, the FBI relied on a Crowdstrike investigation that falsely claimed the server was hacked by Russia. The FBI cleared HC despite admitting she broke the law, and launched the Russiagate investigation, using more fake Clinton campaign disinfo to tie Trump to Russia to get a FISA warrant and spy on Trump while leaking dirt to the press to undermine first his campaign, then his presidency."
Smith continued, "When Trump had a call with Zelenskyy and asked about Crowdstrike, a “whistleblower” falsely claimed quid-pro-quo and launched the first impeachment to stop Trump’s inquiries. (It was in the midst of this impeachment trial, btw, when Event 201 took place. But that’s another story.) Fast forward to 2024 and Trump is dominating Biden when he miraculously survives a deep state orchestrated assassination attempt two days before the RNC.
Two days later Crowdstrike causes the biggest computer network crash in all of history, knocking millions of corporate and government systems offline for hours. Other than the fact that Blackrock owns Crowdstrike and a Blackrock affiliated investment firm placed millions of dollars betting against DJT in the hours before the assassination attempt by a shooter who was featured in a Blackrock promo, did I miss anything?"
