Hillary Clinton’s response to the Orlando terrorist attack has focused on calling for more gun control. In an attempt to court the Democratic base, she has come out hard today for more regulations.
One proposal she tweeted out was particularly jaw-dropping: “If the FBI is watching you for suspected terrorist links, you shouldn’t be able to just go buy a gun with no questions asked.”
The Orlando terrorist wasn’t currently on a list, although he had been investigated twice. So, a new expanded list would have to be developed.
Would this expanded list include anyone who has been investigated by the FBI? Would it include officials being investigated by the FBI for leaving classified information unsecure and accessible to terrorists?
If so, then Clinton would be excluded from being able to purchase firearms. Clinton is under FBI criminal investigation for using an unsecured server to send classified material, material which a hacker claimed “was easy” to access.
