Trump’s millennials are more open-minded than Clinton’s

Donald Trump supporters have been called racist, sexist, misogynist, and most famously “deplorable,” but data proves that they’re actually far more accepting to differing opinions than people who support Hillary Clinton.

Pew Research released a study on Thursday revealing that millennials supporting Trump were more tolerant compared to people who support Clinton. Ironically, the admiration was not mutual.

A supermajority, 69 percent, of millennials supporting Trump said that they had no problem respecting someone who supported the Democratic nominee, making them the most open minded group in any age range.

Young voters for Clinton were the least accepting people who did not agree with them politically. 61 percent said they have a hard time respecting someone who has voted for the Republican nominee.

Ironically, Clinton supporters became more accepting of those supporting Trump as they aged. The opposite was true of those voting for the billionaire. The older they got, the less they respected people supporting the Democratic nominee.
