Trump’s June fundraising numbers are YUGE

Trump’s fundraising numbers for the month of June were “YUGE.”

Except not really. But they were pretty good and a big improvement from earlier in the year.

The billionaire raised $55 million during June; $30 million is for his presidential campaign and another $25 million for the Republican National Committee, The Washington Post reported.

His numbers are still below Hillary Clinton’s and the Democratic Party’s combined $68.5 million raised in June, but they’re a dramatic improvement from his devastatingly low $1 million he had at the end of May.

A large amount of the funds raised came from small-dollar online donors. More than 400,000 of them poured money into the campaign, and $3 million during a single day. Trump donated an additional $3.8 million to his campaign with a personal check.
