One Wikileaks email perfectly shows why Hillary fails with millennials

From her campaign’s inception, Hillary Clinton has failed to garner a significant amount of millennial support and volunteers the same way Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders did.

Wikileaks files released on Sunday and Monday showed just how out of touch the Clinton campaign is with millennial voters and how they planned on using astroturf to fake support from young voters to counter the support from Sanders.

In an e-mail sent on March 17, 2016, from the Clinton campaign to John Podesta revealed that the Democratic nominee planned on using entertainers and young elected officials to mobilize millennials to build a fake grassroots movement.

The astroturf organization was to have little direct connection to the campaign so activists could feel like they created it rather than the Hillary camp trying to compromise Sanders supporters.

Despite their efforts, Clinton still dragged in youth excitement compared to the Sanders campaign.
