Latino Vote Strategy: Clinton, Sanders hire illegal immigrants

Democrats are desperate to try and keep the winning Obama coalition (millennials, Hispanics, and women) together for Hillary Clinton.

With millennials refusing to embrace the former First Lady, Democrats are now trying to reach out to so-called DREAMers — immigrants who came to the U.S. illegally as children — to help court younger Latino voters, reported Kizz 95.1.

Both Bernie Sanders and Clinton have hired DREAMers on their campaign team. Erika Andiola, Cesar Vargas, and Belen Sisa have all been hired by the Sanders campaign for Latino outreach while Clinton has tapped Lorella Praeli to head Latino outreach for her campaign — she recently became a citizen after marrying an American.

All the Democratic candidates have embraced amnesty for illegals, as well as weak border security measures, and, with the exception of Sanders, increased legal immigration — despite the fact that 85 percent of the country opposes that position according to a study by Pew Research.

Sanders and Clinton have also stressed that they will go further than President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which grants DREAMers protection from deportation and temporary work permits. This is an empty promise considering that federal courts have ruled that DACA is unconstitutional several times.
