ICYMI: Wikipedia scrubbed JD Vance’s medals from his prior service with the Marine Corps

Over the weekend, conservative news pundits noticed that the search platform Wikipedia had scrubbed JD Vance's medals from his prior service with the Marine Corps.

Ryan Fournier made the post, and Richard Grenell quote posted:

"Everyone knows Wikipedia is a tool of the Left. It isn’t accurate - it’s an opinion site."

The move that many deem as "petty" comes after a slew of stolen valor accusations came against Kamala Harris' running mate, Governor Tim Walz (D-MN).

Among the accusations, the most weighted came from a former battalion commander of Tim Walz’s National Guard unit.

The New York Post reported: "John Kolb, who became lieutenant colonel of the Minnesota unit a few months after Walz quit to run for Congress, joined the attacks soon after Vice President Kamala Harris admitted her running mate “misspoke” about retiring as a command sergeant major.

Kolb noted it’s an "affront" for him to claim a title he did not earn — and accusing him of running when service got too tough.

In a widely shared Facebook post, Kolb said Walz not only "retired early" and "broke his enlistment contract," the Democrat also failed to "complete the Sergeants Major Academy” and "did not successfully complete any assignment as a Sergeant Major."'
