Dems bash ’13 hours’ Benghazi film, Hillary ‘too busy’ to see it

Over the weekend, the new film about the Benghazi terrorist attacks, 13 Hours, was released. The film includes the account that commandos called in were told to “stand down,” but, as Politico reported in a thorough piece, the Democrats are disputing that account.

In doing so, the Democrats are calling the special forces, who were there, liars.

Politico talked to one of those men, former Special Forces Officer Kris Paronto. He said that “those words were used verbatim — 100 percent. … If the truth of it affects someone’s political career? Well, I’m sorry. It happens.”

Later in the piece Politico also writes:

…But more than a half dozen investigations found no evidence that such an order was ever given. Some probes, however, acknowledged a slight delay in responding to the attacks because the CIA base chief, or “Bob” in the movie, was calling local Libyan militias for help in hopes of fortifying the rescue team.

But Paronto and his former teammates dismissed those findings as not credible, because they said investigators never interviewed people who were on the ground — including him and his former teammates.
