Dear liberal college students: Thanks for helping Trump win

Political correctness has taken over colleges and universities across the nation. From safe spaces to safety pins, college students are constantly finding new ways to be offended and require “trigger warnings.” Is this the reason why Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election? Are Americans tired of the millennial generation constantly needing to be curled up in the fetal position after someone says something that offends them?

Charlie Kirk, founder and executive director of Turning Point USA, said political correctness is the exact reason why Trump won the 2016 presidential election.

“The political correctness wave that swept across this country – Donald Trump was a direct response to that,” Kirk told Sean Hannity on Thursday. “Donald Trump was so effective at being able to speak to middle Americans that are fed up with the safe spaces spreading on college campuses, the microaggressions, the trigger warnings.”

The University of Central Florida in Orlando is one of many American universities that has implemented safe spaces immediately following the election. Hosting “Post-Election Discussion Sessions” on campus to provide “a safe space and inclusive space to discuss the social and political climate of our nation, of Central Florida, and on our campus.”

“Trump played off the anger and resentment of a large portion of the American people towards this delicate generation,” said UCF student Brandon Pickering. “He defied the odds and beat out the ‘qualified’ candidate that would be perfect for the further development of this ‘progressive pansy movement.’… The population in college around the United States grew up in the ‘everybody wins’ society in which no one ever lost and that’s what made this election such a crushing blow. They may be rioting in the streets but in all actuality, they are throwing temper tantrums because they did not get their way, like they have been so well trained to do.”
