Comey may be under investigation for refusing to cover up Clinton investigation

No good deed goes unpunished, and for FBI Director James Comey, it looks like he will be punished indeed for his horrible transgression.

Days after Comey sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding a review of Hillary Clinton’s private email upon the discovery of emails on aide Huma Abedin’s laptop, the Office of Special Counsel (OSC) may have opened an investigation into Comey’s actions.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid suggested that Comey may have violated federal law by sending his letter to the Committee so close to the election.

“I am writing to inform you that my office has determined that these actions may violate the Hatch Act, which bars FBI officials from using their official authority to influence an election,” Reid wrote in a letter to the FBI director. “Through your partisan actions, you may have broken the law.”

Now, the OSC may be taking the bait, however, they’re denying that anything is happening.
