About 30 years ago, former President Bill Clinton emerged as the young, cool candidate who speaks to young people in the way they can understand. Oh my, how times have changed — at a rally in New Hampshire on Monday, he wasn’t even speaking in the correct vernacular.
“”I am so grateful for all the millennial young people who are supporting Hillary,” Bill said according to the Daily Beast’s Olivia Nuzzi.
Of course this is not even the correct use of the phrase. It’s either millennials or young people but not both.
People on Twitter were merciless in their critiques of the former president trying to sound young.
