Bernie never stood a chance: Hacker leaks reveal DNC-Clinton coordination

Sorry Bernie Bros. New leaked documents from the Democratic National Committee proved the fix was in for Hillary Clinton from the beginning, and your candidate never had a chance.

A Russian hacker who identifies himself as Guccifer 2.0 leaked official DNC documents showing that party officials and elites in the media were collaborating with the Hillary Clinton campaign dating back to May 26, 2015 — the same day Bernie Sanders officially launched his bid for the Democratic nomination.

The document from May 26 details how the DNC would work hand-in-hand with the mainstream media to discredit any Republican nominee. They also detail how they planned on playing up Clinton’s positives while downplaying her negatives.

“Reporter Outreach: Working through the DNC and others, we should use background briefings, prep with reporters for interviews with GOP candidates, off-the-record conversations and oppo pitches to help pitch stories with no fingerprints and utilize reporters to drive a message,” the DNC document stated.

“Our goals in the coming months will be to frame the Republican field and the eventual nominee early and to provide a contrast between the GOP field and HRC,” the document continued. “Over the long-term, these efforts will be aimed at getting us the best match-up in the general election, and weakening the eventual nominee through the course of the primary.”
