Ben Carson responds to Bill Clinton sex scandals: “Is this America any more?”

Inevitably, the Bill Clinton sex scandals were bound to come up, as moderators reminded viewers that several candidates have brought them up, and also evoked Hillary’s name. For instance, she has been referred to as an “enabler.”

Tonight it was Ben Carson who was asked to comment.

Carson spoke of how it is important to view the record of past presidents and their values. He also took it to a thoughtful place in mentioning the Christian-Judeo values of what this country was founded on. The mention came after Carson referred to social media comments where you can’t get “five comments in” before insults and name calling starts flying.

Of all the takes on the sex scandals, Carson certainly offered a unique take.

“Is this America any more?” Carson said. “Do we still have standards? Do we still have values and principles?”
