18-year old alleged terrorist arrested by FBI in Arizona

The FBI and Arizona Attorney General’s Office recently arrested Mahin Khan, 18, from Tucson, Associated Press reported.

A Phoenix judge ordered him held without bond in Maricopa County Jail. Khan faces two coutns of conspiracy to commit terrorism and terrorism for threatening Arizona government buildings in Phoenix in Tucson.

Attorney General spokeswoman Mia Garcia says they are not aware of any threats he made involving the holiday weekend. Nevertheless, it still will be a relief to know the alleged terrorist has been caught and arrested.

Khan’s records are sealed according to Garcia.
