NEW: DALI container ship’s black box ceased recording 2 minutes prior to hitting Francis Scott Key Bridge

On Thursday, there were more developments regarding the events of Tuesday, March 26, where in the early morning in Baltimore, Maryland, the Francis Scott Key Bridge was struck by a container ship.

On March 28, it was revealed that the DALI container ship’s black box, also known as the Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), ceased recording for 2 minutes prior to hitting the Francis Scott Key Bridge.

In a press release aired by Fox News, NTSB Marine Accident Investigator Marcel Muise gave comments.
